imgres-2-8-24-07-amWe all experience times when we feel out of sorts or lost. It’s part of the human condition. Some days you may wake up and life feels magical and everything falls into place. Other days you have no plan, vision or idea where you’re heading. You feel stressed and tired. Getting out of bed, making coffee, getting the kids to school and yourself out to work is about all you can handle. And it’s enough!

When you’re feeling out of sorts and directionless practice what’s worked before to help you find your direction and feel balanced and centered again. Here are some tips:

  • Take time off

Your retreat can be a moment or an entire day. Take a few deep breaths. Get out in nature. Cuddle your dog. The point is to connect with yourself and get grounded and centered.

  • Let go

Release troubles and worries. Forgive yourself and others. Ask the Divine to help you let go.

  • Stay peaceful

When you notice you’re feeling stressed or out of sorts reach for a thought that helps you feel better. Know that when you are peaceful you help heal the world.

  • Be present

Experience what you are experiencing while you are experiencing it. All you have to do is what’s in front of you right now.

  • Use your intuition

Listen to your inner voice. Where is it telling you to go? What is it telling you to do.

  • Experience your emotions

  • Practice self-love and self-care

What’s one thing you can do today to be kind to yourself? For ways to practice self-care and self-compassion HERE.

  • Remember

Even when you feel lost you are being guided and led. Keep your vision. It may take you longer to get to where you want to be than you expected. Trust Divine timing and know that everything happens for a reason.

Which of these tips and techniques are you going to use today? Commit to one or two and watch what happens.
